Following are the steps to update DSC in the Income Tax portal:

Step 1: Visit the Income Tax official portal.

Step 2: Log in to the portal using your user ID and password.

Step 3: Select 'Register DSC' from the 'My Profile' drop-down menu.

Step 4: Enter your email linked with the account.

Step 5: Select the 'I have downloaded and installed emSigner utility' checkbox and click on 'Continue'.

Step 6: Select the provider, DSC option and enter the password. Click on 'Sign' to successfully update the digital signature.
